Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a registered nurse for the Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgical & Transplant ICU. You will coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care in a state-of-the-art 11-bed unit opening near the Mary Brigh Building, with cross-training to the Pediatric ICU.

Qualifications include an RN license, 1 year of RN experience, strong communication, teamwork, computer skills, and flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate RN with licensure; ACEN/CCNE NLN equal recognized program.
• One year RN experience required.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, computer skills, and flexibility.
• Internal applicants must attach recent performance appraisals.
• Current RN license by state; BLS valid within 90 days post start date.
• Additional state licensure or specialty certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Cross-trained to Pediatric ICU; potential hybrid shifts between ICUs.
• Support care for Pediatric CV Surgical and Transplant ICU patients.
• Lead with professional nursing practice and quality improvement efforts.
• Ability to work days/evenings/nights/holidays and weekends; on-call as needed.
