Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time position in the Riley Hospital 3W Cardiac Stepdown Unit. The role focuses on high acuity pediatric cardiac patients in a 24-bed unit with NICU beds, offering opportunities for growth and collaboration with a leading pediatric cardiovascular program.

The RN will assess and document patient progress, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and support teaching of caregivers.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor and document high acuity cardiac patients from neonates to adults.
• Provide care planning and coordination across the care continuum.
• Teach caregivers and families through patient education programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance patient plan of care.
• Support unit initiatives and participate in continual learning.
