Job summary

Riley Children's Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 3W Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Riley Hospital. The role covers a wide range of high-acuity pediatric cardiac patients, from neonates to adults, with opportunities to grow into CVICU.

Preferred candidates have pediatric cardiac experience, a valid Indiana RN license, and BLS certification. Multiple 12-hour shifts are available with weekend rotation; relocation incentive and referral bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of RN experience.
• Peds Cardiac experience preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana (or NLC) required.
• BLS certification required; other advanced Life Support certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document on high acuity cardiac patients from neonates to adults.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
• Educate caregivers and families about post-discharge care and unit policies.
• Collaborate with CVICU and other units as needed to ensure smooth patient transitions.
