Akron Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join our team in Ohio. The role involves providing expert care in a busy PICU within a level 1 trauma center, collaborating with a dedicated group of intensivists and APPs across multiple care locations.

Requirements include MD/DO, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Critical Care, and additional fellowship training in cardiac intensive care with the ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Join a well-established team of 13 pediatric intensivists and 16 advanced practice providers who operate in Akron Children's newly expanded PICU.
• Provide patient care in a pediatric critical care setting within a level 1 trauma center and support regional transport services.

The Hospital is a level 1 trauma center, and the intensivists serve as the medical control physician for a large regional transport service.
