• At least one year of recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• Active Texas RN license or equivalent multi-state license.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN enrollment if no BSN within 6 months and completion within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for critically ill pediatric cardiac patients.
• Perform assessments and monitor condition changes; escalate promptly.
• Administer treatments and medications per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and care team.
• Educate families and support care planning.
• Maintain documentation and follow infection prevention practices.
