Qualifikationen

• Active RN license TX or compact required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience

• New graduates will be considered in lieu of critical care experience

Aufgaben

• Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time, 13-week assignment
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Provide patient and family education based on identified learning needs
• New hires attend New Nurses Orientation within 30 days
• New hires are precepted by trained staff and must complete department competencies
