Job summary

UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals invite applications for faculty positions in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks. Primary clinical duties will be in CICU at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals San Francisco and Oakland, with involvement in education and research.

Ideal candidates will have MD or equivalent, licensure in California, and board eligibility/certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree and California medical license eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine or Pediatric Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in the Cardiac ICU at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.
• Participate in education and research within the department.
• Collaborate with residents, fellows, and multidisciplinary teams.

Education

MD or equivalent degree

Eligibility for California medical license

Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics

Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology
