Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms and support our pediatric cardiology team. This role collaborates closely with the pediatric cardiologist and reports to the Cardiac Services Manager.

The ideal candidate has active pediatric echocardiography certification (RDCS/ARDMS or RCS/CCI), a minimum of one year of experience, and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Active Pediatric Echocardiography certification required (RDCS/ARDMS or RCS/CCI).
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric echocardiography experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality pediatric and congenital heart disease echocardiograms in various care settings.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Report urgent findings to the pediatric cardiologist promptly.
• Document studies in the EMR and preliminary findings in PACS.
• Provide timely preliminary results and support patient-focused care.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and assist training of staff.
