Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive pediatric care in both outpatient clinics and inpatient units. The role requires collaboration with supervising physicians, conducting histories and exams, ordering tests, and creating treatment plans.

The position emphasizes education for families, coordination with other services, and ongoing professional development, with expectations for BLS on hire and PALS within 60 days where applicable.

Qualifications

• GA licensure for Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants or multi-state licensure via eNLC
• Certification in APRN/PA from ANCC/AANP/PNCB/NCCPA (FNP cert may be acceptable with approval)
• BLS certification required on hire
• PALS within 60 days for certain roles in specified settings

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care management in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Perform histories, exams, and identify normal/abnormal findings.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics.
• Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families; serve as resources.
• Coordinate referrals to other providers and services.
