Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for children and their families in inpatient and ambulatory settings under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include histories, exams, ordering tests, developing treatment plans, educating families, coordinating referrals, and collaborating with the care team. Requires GA RN or APRN licensure and certification; BLS at hire; PALS within 60 days for certain units.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or bachelor's degree in medical science.
• Licensure as RN in GA or multi-state via eNLC and APRN licensure in GA, or PA licensure in GA.
• Certification as APRN by ANCC/AANP/PNCB/NCCPA; Family Nurse Practitioner may be acceptable with CNO approval.
• BLS certification required on hire; PALS within 60 days for specific practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for children under supervision in inpatient/ambulatory settings.
• Perform histories and exams, identify normal/abnormal findings, order tests.
• Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans; educate families.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team; coordinate referrals as needed.
