Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Behavioral Health Technician to provide developmentally appropriate supervision, crisis response, and therapeutic support for pediatric patients.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, model positive behaviors, and ensure safety on units and in group activities. Responsibilities include facilitating skills groups, documenting patient progress, transporting patients when needed, and mentoring volunteers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years in a behavioural health related field or related work/education.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Recreation Therapy, Sociology, or related field in behavioural health.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic interactions and crisis management.
• Leads skills-based groups and manages group dynamics.
• Documents patient progress and incidents in the charting system.
• Works with multi-disciplinary team to implement treatment plans and maintain confidentiality.
• Mentors staff and volunteers under supervision.
