Children's Colorado is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to deliver direct patient care to children and adolescents within emergency services, medical units, and behavioral health programs under licensed supervision.

You will implement individualized treatment plans, maintain thorough records, and supervise milieu groups while ensuring safety and trauma-informed care. This role requires BLS/CPR and de-escalation training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in a related field.
• Area of study includes psychology, social work, biology, or neuroscience.
• BLS/CPR certification and de-escalation training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed professional.
• Lead educational and therapeutic milieu groups and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete 15-minute checks.
• Ensure safety and respond to crisis using de-escalation skills.
