Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a part-time Pediatric Behavioral Health RN to join a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on care planning, patient education, and clinical leadership within a collaborative unit, with 12-hour shifts on a 3-day workweek.

You will coordinate care with therapists and physicians, support admissions/discharges, and serve as a clinical resource for new staff. MO RN license and 1–2 years’ relevant mental health experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree; bachelors preferred
• 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in mental health
• Current MO RN license

Responsibilities

• Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Identifies hospital resources.
• Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive leadership within unit or department.
