Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Texas seeks a Behavior Technician to support children with autism and developmental disabilities through applied behavior analysis (ABA). The BT will work one-on-one to help build communication, social, and daily living skills, following behavior plans and data collection procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1+ years of experience or exposure to working with children; candidate must pass a background check and complete a 40-hour training for certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience or exposure to working with children.
• Ability to complete a 40-hour training and certification.
• Capable of working both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients in one-on-one and group settings.
• Collect behavior and skill data and complete daily session notes.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents.
