Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking an Entry Level Behavior Technician to support children with autism and developmental disabilities through ABA-based one-on-one and small-group sessions. Training is provided, with a focus on data collection and protocol adherence.

You will work in a collaborative team, communicate with families and supervisors, and engage in ongoing professional development in Baytown, Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1+ years of experience or exposure to working with children.
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Commitment to completing a 40-hour training for certification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must pass a background check.
• Provide direct care one-on-one and in groups following behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients in one-on-one and group settings.
• Collect behavior and skill data using tablets and record daily notes.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings and follow protocols.
