Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in Randolph, VT is seeking a Behavior Technician trainee to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. This is a paid training program designed to teach skill acquisition and behavior modification in a supportive environment.

Eligibility includes 18+ years old, HS diploma or GED, 1 year of experience with children, and willingness to obtain RBT certification. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered onsite.

Responsibilities

• Delivers 1:1 ABA therapy to children under supervision.
• Ensures timely billing support and documentation backing services.
• Updates availability in the EMR and coordinates with Client Advocate.
• Communicates with Client Advocate and Supervisor as needed.
• Follows BACB ethics in service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.
• RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Posted Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $27.00 /Hr.
