Powerback Rehabilitation is hiring a Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. This paid training program prepares you to implement ABA techniques and help children reach milestones.

The role is based in Nevada, MO with a Mon-Fri after-school schedule (approximately 15 hours/week). Powerback offers mentorship, CEUs, and visa sponsorship options as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics. Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Delivers one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under supervision.
• Ensures billing and documentation support services rendered.
• Updates availability in the EMR and communicates changes to the Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor.
• Follows the BACB code of ethics in service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Responsibilities

The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.


• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.


• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.


• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).


• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.


• Performs other related duties as required.
