Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician. You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under a BCBA's supervision and support families in a meaningful way.

Our paid training program leads toward RBT certification, with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and ongoing CEU access. The role includes scheduling after-school hours, coordinating with care teams, and maintaining accurate documentation and billing.

Qualifications

  • Must have a passion for working with children on the autism spectrum.
  • Reliable transportation to and from posted work locations.
  • Completion of 40-hour RBT training or be willing to obtain RBT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Works 1:1 with a child in ABA therapy under supervision.
  • Ensures billing and documentation accurately reflect services.
  • Updates and communicates availability in the EMR system and with Client Advocate.
  • Keeps regular contact with Client Advocate and Supervisor about assigned clients.
  • Adheres to BACB ethics in service delivery and professionalism.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Responsibilities

The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
  • Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
  • Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
  • Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
  • Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
  • Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
  • Minimum 1 year working with children.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
  • Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.
Posted Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
