Under individualized treatment plans, you’ll help kids practice life skills through engaging, play-based activities in natural settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background screening.
• Reliable transportation and ability to transport clients.
• Enjoy working with children and families.
• Demonstrate patience, professionalism, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• As a Pediatric Support Specialist, provide one-on-one support for children with developmental, behavioral, communication, and learning challenges.
• Work under individualized treatment plans to help children practice important life skills in natural settings through play-based activities.
• Support communication, emotional regulation, and social development.
• Encourage independence with daily living and self-help skills.
• Facilitate learning through structured play and positive reinforcement.
• Assist children during community outings and recreational activities.
• Record session information and document client progress.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain required certifications and agency standards.
