Job summary

Children’s Therapy Place in Salmon, Idaho is seeking a Behavioral Interventionist to provide 1:1 behavior intervention for clients aged 3 to 21 with developmental disabilities. You will record daily data, maintain notes, and collaborate with a Clinical Supervisor to support service plans and client needs in home, school, and community settings.

The BI pathway includes Intervention Specialist, Intervention Professional, and a provisional Intervention Technician track, with salary starting at $22,

Qualifications

• 1,040 hours of supervised experience with individuals birth to 21 years with functional or behavioral needs.
• Completion of 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training prior to start date, or HI certificate eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field for BI; Master’s for Intervention Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior intervention to clients aged 3–21 with developmental disabilities.
• Record daily data and keep detailed notes during therapy sessions.
• Maintain open communication with clients and families on a set caseload.
• Provide family training when needed.
• Collaborate with Clinical Supervisor to support service plans and meet client needs.
• Transport clients to therapy settings as needed.
