Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology and active Colorado license.
• Individual National Provider Identifier.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Experience evaluating children for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Competency with evidence-based autism-assessment methods and standardized instruments.
• Knowledge of current diagnostic criteria and co-occurring conditions.
• Ability to produce payer-ready reports with interpretation.
• Strong family communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to satisfy background checks and privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Review developmental, medical, educational, psychological, and therapy records.
• Complete caregiver interviews and direct clinical observations.
• Select and administer standardized autism, developmental, cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral measures.
• Assess current diagnostic criteria and differential/co-occurring diagnoses.
• Prepare clear reports with test results, interpretation, conclusions, codes, and recommendations.
• Conduct feedback sessions with parents or guardians.
• Complete reports within turnaround expectations.
• Respond to payer or clinical requests for clarification.
• Provide services through telehealth or in person according to requirements.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment.
