Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Audiology Assistant (Part-Time) to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. Location for this position will be the main hospital in Wilmington, DE with occasional travel to the Milford, DE location.

The audiology assistant supports the department by performing hearing screenings, assisting audiologists with testing, stocking supplies, and handling administrative duties across satellite locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience required.
• Travel to satellite locations required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screenings and document results in the medical record.
• Assist audiologists with testing infants, toddlers, and children.
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment and care areas.
• Support with hearing devices including HA, BCHD, EM, and ALD systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs; enter charges and update patient charts.
• Order supplies, track payments, and reconcile budgets.
