Job summary

The Nemours Foundation is seeking an Audiology Assistant (Part-Time) to join the team in Wilmington, Delaware. The role supports the audiology department with hearing screenings, device handling, and administrative duties at all locations.

Primary responsibilities include NBHS, assisting audiologists with tests for pediatric patients, stocking and inventory, and EPIC documentation. Travel to Milford may be required, and a High School Diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Complete newborn hearing screenings and document results in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Assist audiologists in testing infants, toddlers, and children.
• Perform routine daily functions: stocking, checks, and ensuring supplies for patient care areas.
• Handle ordering, receiving, budgeting, payments, and accounts payable reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Complete NBHS and document results in the EMR and enter charges.
• Assist audiologists during testing of pediatric patients.
• Stock supplies and ensure equipment is available for patient care.
• Troubleshoot and assist with hearing devices and repairs as directed.
• Document charges and maintain EPIC communication with care team.
