The Athletic Trainer at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford assists physicians in care delivery and serves as a bridge between community partners and the Children’s Orthopedic Center sports medicine team. In clinic, you’ll help with patient intake, initial assessments, and post-operative education.

You will provide on-site care for high school athletes and Young Athletes Academy partners, including injury prevention, emergency coverage, and athlete education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline is required.
• Experience: None required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical records management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with patient care and post-operative education.
• Support day-to-day clinic operations including patient intake and initial assessments.
• Provide on-site sports medicine care and emergency coverage during events.
• In outreach, manage care for athletes and community partners.
