Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks a Research Coordinator to assist investigators in an asthma and allergy clinical study, coordinating multiple studies, liaising with school, sponsors, community, and participants.

You will manage all phases of the study protocol to ensure compliance and accurate data handling. Responsibilities include developing plans with the PI, preparing manuscripts and grant proposals, and supporting protocol amendments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within one month of hire.
• 2 years of clinical research experience.
• Clinical research skills including data management and protocol knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Confers with PI to develop plans for research projects and interpret results.
• Collaborates in manuscript preparation and grant proposal development.
• Assists in amendments to protocols and study design as needed.
• Manages all phases of study protocol to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Analyzes adverse events and determines necessary reporting actions.
• Coordinates recruitment and enrollment of participants and study visits.
• Performs pulmonary function tests under supervision and maintains equipment.
• Maintains accurate participant binders and data queries.
