Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist investigators in coordinating complex studies, liaising with the school, sponsor, and participants. You will manage protocol phases, data collection, and regulatory adherence in a patient care setting.

You will develop plans, prepare manuscripts and grant proposals, and ensure timely progress reporting. A Bachelor's degree and BLS certification are required, with research experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience may substitute for minimum education
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA/Red Cross)
• Clinical Research experience: 2 years

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing plans for research projects and interpret results
• Collaborate on manuscript preparation and grant proposals
• Prepare amendments to protocols and study designs as appropriate
• Coordinate development of forms, questionnaires, and research techniques
• Write instructional procedures for study progress and data collection
• Review literature to inform planning of new studies
• Manage all phases of study/protocol and ensure regulatory compliance
• Establish and maintain record-keeping systems
• Assess participant progress and report adverse events
• Decide when to notify physicians or adjust protocols as needed
• Resolve protocol issues and liaise with sponsoring agency
• Interpret collected data and report progress and conclusions
• Prepare oral or written presentations and analyses of trends
• Perform other duties as assigned
