Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking an Asthma Allergy Tech to support pediatric allergy care in our ambulatory clinic. The role focuses on controlling allergy shot flow, documenting histories and vitals, performing procedures, mixing immunotherapy antigen, and delivering patient education in a child-centered setting.

The position emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with a 16 hours/month minimum and Monday–Friday clinic hours, no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSED plus two years of advanced education in biological sciences or similar training.
• Health care program training that includes medication administration (e.g., Medical Assistant or Nursing).
• 1+ years related experience required.
• Immunization/injection experience preferred.
• Allergy clinical experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations; strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with EPIC EHR; MS Office skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care by managing allergy shot flow.
• Obtain and document patient history and vital signs.
• Perform assigned procedures and mix immunotherapy antigen.
• Provide patient education and maintain safe clinic environment.
