Job summary

Great Strides Rehabilitation, a H2 Health company, seeks an Autism Diagnostic Evaluator / Licensed Psychologist to join our pediatric diagnostic team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time, hybrid role combines in-clinic evaluations with remote documentation and report writing.

You will conduct comprehensive ASD evaluations, interview families, administer assessments, and provide feedback to caregivers, supporting treatment planning and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current Florida licensure as a Psychologist or equivalent.
• Experience conducting pediatric developmental and autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Experience administering and interpreting autism and developmental assessment instruments.
• Strong clinical interviewing, assessment, and diagnostic report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected ASD and developmental concerns.
• Complete parent and caregiver interviews and review histories.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessment tools for pediatric populations.
• Formulate diagnoses consistent with current standards and criteria.
• Prepare evaluation reports with findings and recommendations.
• Provide diagnostic feedback to parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, physicians, educators, and other team members.
• Coordinate referrals for therapies and related services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with requirements.
• Support growth of the pediatric diagnostic program.
