University of Colorado Anschutz in Colorado Springs seeks a Pediatric Anesthesiologist (Sr. Instructor) to provide 100% clinical anesthesia care for pediatric patients at CHCO, with teaching responsibilities and limited service duties.

The role requires fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology, board eligibility or ABMS diplomat status, Colorado medical license, and ACLS/PALS; ATLS within one year. Onsite in Colorado Springs, CO with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Colorado by start date.
• Board eligibility or Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, or equivalent foreign training.
• Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Board certification in pediatric anesthesiology highly desirable.
• Experience teaching Anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care 100% of the time in OR and radiology.
• Pre- and post-anesthesia assessment and orders; ensure readiness before induction.
• Manage anesthesia for pediatric subspecialties and regional anesthesia as needed.
• Contribute to teaching medical students and fellows; no required research duties.
