Job summary

Consilium Staffing, LLC is seeking a pediatric anesthesiologist for hospital-based maternity leave coverage in Dayton, OH. This assignment runs August 10 through November 16, 2026, with additional coverage dates to be confirmed. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., with no on-call requirement. The role includes providing anesthesia for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients across several subspecialties, excluding cardiac and transplant surgery.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist with pediatric subspecialty experience.
• Ability to provide anesthesia for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Experience in high-volume Level 1 trauma center settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal, pediatric, and adult anesthesia for multiple surgical subspecialties.
• Work in a mix of solo practice and CRNA supervision.
• Support a Level 1 pediatric trauma center with 14 ORs.

Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p. No call listed.

Provide anesthesia for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients across surgical subspecialties, excluding cardiac and transplant surgery. Cases include general surgery, thoracic excluding open heart, complex orthopedics, and neurosurgery.

Mix of solo practice and CRNA supervision in a care team model. Level 1 pediatric trauma center with 14 ORs and 22 anesthesiologists. Reported surgical volume is 50-60 cases daily across the facility.

$400/hr. Approved travel reimbursement includes flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage at the IRS standard rate, subject to facility policy.
