Odyssey Locums seeks a Pediatric Anesthesiologist for locum coverage in Ohio. Coverage from Aug 10 to Nov 16, 2026, with a 07:00–15:30 schedule, Monday to Friday. Hospital-based ORs, 14 rooms, and a team of 22 anesthesiologists. Neonatal to adult patient demographic.

Active OH license and board certification in pediatric anesthesiology required. ACLS, BLS, and PALS credentials are required. Credentialing within ~90 days.

Qualifications

• BC Pediatric Anesthesiology; OH license active; BLS/ACLS/PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs in hospital-based operating rooms.
• Provide pediatric anesthesia for diverse cases.
• Coordinate with surgical teams for complex cases.
• Manage anesthesia care from neonatal to adult patients.

• Practice Setting (Pain Management Clinic/Surgical Center/Hospital Based): Hospital Based Operating Rooms
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 50-60
• Average Number of Pain Management Cases: 0
• Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 22
• # of Operating Rooms: 14
• Annual ER Volume: 70,000
• Procedures: General Surgical Cases, Thoracic Cases (except open heart), complex orthopedic cases, neurosurgical cases, vent management
• OR Staff: collegial team of RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, APPs
• Required to Supervise CRNAs. A mix of practicing solo and supervising CRNAs in a care team model
• Will the Locum Tenens Physician be Responsible for Preparing the Anesthesia Cart? No
