Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a full-time Staff Physician - Anesthesiologist to provide safe, high-quality clinical care for pediatric patients. The role combines direct patient care, supervision of staff, and compliance oversight within a mission-driven environment focused on treating children with cancer and other serious diseases.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology; pediatric pediatric anesthesiology preferred.
• MD/DO (or equivalent) and eligible for Tennessee licensure.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in Tennessee.
• Fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology preferred.
• Experience in pediatrics or related specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and determine treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and monitor patient response.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate care with referring providers.
• Supervise clinical staff and support education for fellows and nurse practitioners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to quality improvement.
