Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a full-time Staff Physician - Anesthesiologist to provide safe, high-quality clinical care for pediatric patients. Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology; pediatric pediatric anesthesiology preferred.
• MD/DO (or equivalent) and eligible for Tennessee licensure.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in Tennessee.
• Fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology preferred.
• Experience in pediatrics or related specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and determine treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and monitor patient response.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate care with referring providers.
• Supervise clinical staff and support education for fellows and nurse practitioners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to quality improvement.

Job Description: The Division of Anesthesiology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a full time Staff Physician -Anesthesiologist to support safe, high quality clinical care for pediatric patients. This role combines direct patient care, staff supervision, and compliance oversight within a collaborative, mission driven environment focused on treating children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

The anesthesiology team provides specialized services in oncology, pain management, and complex pediatric conditions. St. Jude is the only NCI designated comprehensive cancer center devoted solely to children and is consistently recognized as a top workplace and leader in pediatric oncology. Qualified candidates will hold an MD or DO (or equivalent), be board certified or eligible in anesthesiology, and preferably in pediatric anesthesiology, with eligibility for Tennessee licensure. Fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology is strongly preferred.
