Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program is required.
- Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant must be maintained.
- Licensure issued by the State of Florida.
- Active certification in CPR BLS, PALS, and ACLS required.
Responsibilities
- Provides anesthetic care under supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist.
- Obtains patient’s medical history and performs physical exams.
- Administers anesthetic plan as determined by supervising anesthesiologist.
- Continuously monitors the patient and adjusts anesthesia levels as needed.
