Qualifications
Master's Degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program is required.
Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant must be maintained.
Licensure issued by the State of Florida.
Active certification in CPR BLS, PALS, and ACLS required.
Responsibilities
Provides anesthetic care under supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist.
Obtains patient’s medical history and performs physical exams.
Administers anesthetic plan as determined by supervising anesthesiologist.
Continuously monitors the patient and adjusts anesthesia levels as needed.
