Job summary

A leading children's healthcare provider in Florida seeks an Anesthesiology Assistant to provide anesthetic care under the supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Anesthesiology Assistance, relevant certifications, and Florida licensure. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering anesthesia, and maintaining detailed records during procedures. This is a full-time position with a focus on compassionate patient care and effective communication within the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an Anesthesiologist Assistant program, accredited by CAAHEP.
• Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant designated by NCCAA.
• Anesthesiologist Assistant licensure issued by the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthetic care under supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist.
• Performs patient assessments and monitors anesthesia care.
• Maintains anesthesia records and responds to patient needs.

Skills

Ability to evaluate patient response to care

Competent bedside manners

Ability to react calmly during stressful conditions

Demonstrates knowledge of anesthesia practice

Education

Master's Degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program

Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant designation

Anesthesiologist Assistant licensure issued by the State of Florida
