Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI seeks a full-time pediatric pathologist (board-eligible or certified) to join our subspecialized team as Director of Pediatric Anatomic Pathology. This is a faculty appointment at MCW with a competitive salary and a collaborative, pediatric-centered environment.

The successful candidate will provide medical director leadership of the CW Histology Laboratory, oversee surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy services, and participate in teaching,

Qualifications

  • Board-certified pediatric pathologist or eligible for certification in pediatric pathology.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted Wisconsin medical license.
  • Strong leadership and teaching experience in an academic setting.
  • Experience with pediatric surgical pathology and related subspecialties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical director leadership of the CW Histology Laboratory (surgical pathology, cytopathology, autopsy).
  • Oversee surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy services.
  • Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology fellows.
  • Engage in clinical/translational or basic science research with protected time.
