Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network's UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus in Burlington, VT, is seeking a Part-Time Staff Nurse II for the Vermont Children’s Hospital - Clinical unit. The position offers a Day shift (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) with a biweekly 48-hour schedule and a salary range of $41.39‑$69.14 per hour.

The nurse provides professional nursing care, conducts assessments, plans and evaluates care, and works with multidisciplinary teams; on-call is not required.

Qualifications

• Two years of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Vermont or compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS as approved per unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients per plan of care.
• Perform assessments, implement interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support care transitions.
