Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• If RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, complete a Board approved refresher course prior to reactivating license.
• You must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course to be considered for current licensure status.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Support providers by assisting with patient care, floating between providers as needed, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
• Manage EMR in-basket tasks, including patient messages, prescription refill requests, lab results, and provider communications.
• Perform laboratory duties, including specimen collection, processing, and documentation, and administer vaccines according to established protocols.
• Utilize clinical assessment skills to perform telephone and in-person triage, prioritize patient needs, and provide appropriate guidance and care recommendations
