Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to join our pediatric team, delivering family-centered care to promote rapid, safe, and effective patient progress through episodes of care.

You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care using evidence-based practices, document per standards, and collaborate with providers to maintain a smooth clinic flow and positive outcomes. Ohio RN licensure required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy requirements.
• Works with providers and team to ensure a smooth clinic flow and positive patient/family outcomes.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Engages in data collection, auditing, and Quality Improvement; communicates updates to staff.
