Job summary

Dayton Children's Pediatrics is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse to join the Child Health Pavilion. This full-time nursing position reports to the Administrative Manager and includes patient/family education, aseptic technique, and collaboration with the care team to improve health outcomes.

Weekend and on-site shifts are not indicated; hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM with one set off day per week on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• RN license in the state of Ohio is required.
• Commitment to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments and administers medications.
• Assists procedures performed without anesthesia with aseptic technique.
• Assists with employee education and orientation.
• Provides patient and family education to improve health outcomes.
