Job Description:

The University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, seeks a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Immunologist/Allergist to join the Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, Rheumatology Division in Gainesville, Florida.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing patient care services to pediatric immunodeficiency and allergy patients in outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations.
  2. Managing a large primary immunodeficiency population, including infants identified through the state SCID newborn screening program.
  3. Collaborating with Bone Marrow Transplant services for affected infants and children.
  4. Teaching housestaff, fellows, and medical students.
  5. Possibility of appointment at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank, depending on qualifications and experience, with potential for a tenure track position for candidates with a strong research program.

Salary: Commensurate with academic rank and experience.

Minimum Requirements: M.D. or equivalent, licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida, and board certified/eligible in Allergy/Immunology.
