Responsibilities

• Performs medical services within education, training, and experience scope including patient visits, histories, examinations, and treatment plans.
• Works independently and with physicians; seeks input as needed for patient care.
• Maintains confidentiality and documents care in medical records; signs off on labs and studies.
• Communicates with patients by telephone; discusses refills, follow-ups, and test results per protocol.
• Teaches health practices to patients and families; promotes patient education.
• Precepts clinical staff and participates in education for patients and professionals.
• Complies with Corporate Compliance Plan and applicable regulations.
