Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain to provide pediatric and adolescent care. The role includes both urgent care and well visits for patients from newborns to 22 years old, with a weekend rotation in the Longwood Primary Care Clinic.

The candidate should have a Master’s in Nursing, 1 year RN experience, and 3–5 years NP experience in pediatric primary care; bilingual skills are a plus and licensure in MA is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• 3–5 years NP experience in pediatric primary care preferred.
• Experience with adolescent population preferred.
• Ability to work weekend rotation at Longwood campus.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer pediatric/adolescent patients.
• Provide urgent care and well visits for ages newborn through 22.
• Adolescent reproductive health and family planning consultations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to design evidence-based care.
• Develop and recommend standards, policies, and procedures of patient care.
• Participate in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs and committees.
• Work 40 hours per week with days M-F at Martha Eliot and weekend rotation at Longwood Primary Care.
