Job summary

MD is seeking a physician to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate pediatric care to youth residing at DJS facilities in Baltimore. The role covers preventive, acute, chronic, and specialty services to promote health and successful community return.

The position requires AMA board-certified expertise, MD licensure in Maryland, and ability to collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and other providers. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site healthcare: history & physical exams, acute & chronic care, manage medical conditions and refer to ER or specialty care as needed.
• Review medical records, immunizations, lab results, imaging, and discharge summaries; update problem lists and orders.
