Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide inpatient/ED care at the highest level of licensure. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care coordination across the patient journey.

The role requires a BSN as preferred, RN licensure in IL or MI, and current BLS certification. Weekend work is a regular expectation with a 24/7 hospital environment. Proficiency in EMR and basic Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by State Board of Nursing (Illinois or Michigan).
• American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the RN licensure.
• Collaborates with Providers and multidisciplinary care team to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Mentors assigned team members and maintains professional disposition at all times.
• Will be scheduled to work 11 out of every 12 weekends; operates 24/7 inpatient/ED units.
