Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Pediatric RN for the 5W Acute Pediatrics/DOU (Step Down) unit. The role features 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with three shifts per week.

You will supervise nursing interventions, assess patients and families, deliver clinical education, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans with detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with: Current, valid California RN license
• BSN or MSN
• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• PALS certification
• 2 years of inpatient Pediatric RN experience
• Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
• Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
• Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
