Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist license in good standing in North Carolina.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification as required by practice area.
• Credentialing and privileging requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, adverse effects, and adherence.
• Participate in drug therapy management and emergency pharmacotherapy.
• Mentor pharmacy students and residents; support team education and performance.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure formulary adherence and safe medication use.
