Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center seeks a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The NP provides direct critical care to a diverse paediatric patient population and works collaboratively with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Central to this role is the ability to operate with increasing autonomy, manage ventilated patients, and contribute to education and mentoring within a busy tertiary care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a CC or ACNP program.
• Three (3) years of critical care experience as a staff nurse.
• Current PA CRNP license and national APN certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
• Work with attending physicians and healthcare team to deliver critical care.
• Educate residents, nurses, students, and staff as needed.
