Job summary

UW Credit Union's Capitol Square branch is hiring a Peak-Time Teller to greet members, process transactions accurately, and support teammates with a positive, service-first attitude. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving and working with people in a fast-paced environment.

You'll maintain knowledge of UWCU products and adhere to cash handling policies while helping members meet their financial needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the Capitol Square branch location.
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals.
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations.

As a Part-Time Teller, you will play a vital role at your branch, for both your teammates and UW Credit Union’s members. Your job is to make a positive impact on members lives by accurately and enthusiastically performing a variety of transactions to meet their needs.
