Job summary

Peace and Security Funders Group (PSFG) seeks a full-time Program Associate to support our Washington, D.C. office. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will assist across all programs, handle multiple projects, and contribute to DEI initiatives.

The ideal candidate works independently, collaborates in a small team, and values ongoing learning. You will gain experience in peace and security philanthropy, interact with diverse funders and policymakers, and help advance PSFG's mission through

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of work experience in an office environment, nonprofit preferred.
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel and Word for budgeting, reporting, and correspondence.
• Experience or interest in peace and security issues is preferred and encouraged.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and growth in DEI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for PSFG meetings, collect documents, take notes, and support venues and vendors.
• Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, meetings, calls, and travel.
• Prepare monthly expense reports and assist with budget tracking.
• Draft grant proposals and program reports.
• Represent PSFG at meetings and conferences.
